In your journey of expanding your family, we offer domestic home study services. All prospective adoptive families are required to have a completed and approved adoption home study before the placement of a child to ensure that your home is safe and suitable for raising a child. A home study consists of a series of background screenings, a home inspection, and an interview.

Your Insurance Provider
Depending on your insurance provider and your specific benefit plan, your counseling services may be fully or partially covered. We strongly recommend contacting your insurance company in advance to understand your mental health benefits and any potential out-of-pocket costs.
To verify your coverage, consider asking:
- Does my health insurance plan include behavioral health benefits?
- Do I have an annual deductible? If so, how much is it, and how much have I already met?
- Is there a limit on the number of sessions I can attend per year?
- Do I need prior authorization or a referral from my primary care physician for counseling services?
- What is my copay or coinsurance amount for each session?
- Is my provider considered in-network or out-of-network?

Where healing meets growth
Clinical Supervision
Our approach to supervision focuses on creating an environment that fosters growth and self-reflection. Therapists are encouraged to honestly evaluate their work performance, counseling skills, and the personal experiences they bring into their clinical practice. Supervision is structured as a collaborative process that includes case review, chart review, problem-solving, and ongoing professional support.
P.R.I.D.E- Adoption Training
P.R.I.D.E. (Parent Resources for Information, Development, and Education) is a required pre-service training program for all prospective adoptive parents in the state of Florida. This comprehensive 9-week course equips families with the essential knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to understand the child welfare system and to support the healing, safety, and long-term well-being of children who have experienced trauma.
Individual Therapy
Individual counseling is a collaboration between a counselor and client to identify the presenting problem and the impact it has on daily functioning. During the counseling process, the client will learn beneficial techniques to regain control of their lives and how to effectively respond to challenging situations with healthy coping skills. Individual sessions can be offered using a telehealth format (via video, which is secure and HIPAA compliant).
Family Counseling
Family counseling is a form of counseling, which was designed to address specific issues that impact the psychological health of the family such as major life transitions or mental health conditions. Family counseling aims to promote understanding and collaboration among family members in order to solve the problems of one or more individuals. Family counseling sessions can be offered using a telehealth format (via video, which is secure and HIPAA compliant).
Consultation
For many, the decision to start therapy can be difficult. We are here to make the process easy for you by offering a free 15-minute phone consultation. During the consultation, we will discuss the reason you’ve decided to seek counseling, the impact this reason has on your daily functioning and goals you would like to accomplish in counseling.
MEET OUR TEAM
Answers to support your journey
What can I expect during my first session?
Your first session is an opportunity for us to learn more about you, your concerns, and what you hope to gain from therapy. We’ll review your history, discuss your goals, and answer any questions you may have about the process. Together, we begin mapping out the first steps of your pHaith Walk toward healing.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Therapy is for anyone seeking support, clarity, emotional healing, or personal growth. If stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, or life transitions are affecting your daily functioning, therapy can help you build coping skills and regain a sense of control. A free 15-minute consultation can help you decide what fits best.
I want to get the most out of therapy. What can I do to help?
Your commitment to making the most of therapy is already a powerful first step. Active engagement and openness are essential parts of your healing journey. You can support your progress by showing up consistently, being honest about your thoughts and feelings, and practicing the skills we discuss between sessions. Reflecting on your experiences, setting clear goals, and staying curious about your emotions will help you move more confidently along your pHaith Walk. Together, we’ll create a path that supports your growth, clarity, and transformation.
How can counseling help me?
Counseling offers a safe, supportive space to explore your experiences, understand your emotions, and develop healthier ways of navigating life’s challenges. A therapist can help you strengthen coping skills, gain insight, and find clarity when you’re dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, trauma, grief, stress, or life transitions.
Many clients also discover that therapy becomes a powerful tool for personal growth—helping them improve relationships, deepen self-awareness, and build confidence. Counseling provides a fresh perspective when you feel stuck and helps you move toward solutions that align with your values and goals.
The benefits of therapy depend on your commitment to the process and your willingness to apply what you learn between sessions. When you engage fully, counseling can help you:
- Gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your values, and your goals
- Strengthen communication and relationship skills
- Find resolution and healing around the concerns that brought you to therapy
- Develop effective ways to manage stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm
- Navigate anger, grief, depression, or other intense emotions with more ease
- Change unhelpful patterns and create healthier behaviors
- Improve family or marital problem-solving
- Increase self-esteem and build confidence
- Take meaningful steps forward on your pHaith walk toward healing and growth
Therapy is an investment in yourself—and with intention, compassion, and consistent effort, it can create lasting change.
How long are sessions?
Most individual, couples, and family therapy sessions are 50–60 minutes. Longer sessions may be available upon request.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee, as that time is reserved specifically for you.
What issues do you treat?
We provide support for a range of concerns, including:
- Anxiety and stress
- Depression and mood disorders
- Trauma and PTSD
- Relationship and family challenges
- Perinatal mental health & PMADs

How confidential is therapy?
Your privacy is extremely important. All sessions, notes, and communications are protected under HIPAA. Information is only shared with your written permission, except in rare cases of safety or legal exceptions, which will be explained during intake.
How long will I need to be in therapy?
Therapy is individualized—some clients attend for a few months, while others continue long-term. Together, we will regularly assess your goals and progress to ensure therapy aligns with your needs.
